In 2018 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Premium St George and the Dragon Sovereign Gold Proof 3 Coin Set struck in solid 22 Carat Gold with a special Privy Mark to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Queen's Coronation and includes the £2 Double Sovereign, Full Sovereign and Half Sovereign Coins all Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM First Strike.

Each of the 22 carat Gold Proof Sovereigns feature the legendary St George and the Dragon reverse designed by Benedetto Pistrucci, together with the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty, The Queen by Jody Clark on the obverse.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
