In 2017 the Royal Mint released it's yearly Britannia £2 Two Pound Silver Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing one ounce of fine pure Silver.

The reverse design is Philip Nathan's original portrait of Britannia Standing with a Radial Sunburst in the background while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
