1997 Sovereign Coins

The 1997 Gold Sovereign coins are official UK gold coins struck by The Royal Mint, featuring Elizabeth II. The 1997 Sovereign range includes Proof, Certified and Graded Sovereign Coins, along with Full Sovereign, Half Sovereign, and Sovereign sets containing £5, double, full, and half sovereign denominations.

All coins are struck in 22-carat gold and form part of the long-established British Sovereign series dating back to 1817.
