In 1997 to celebrate Hong Kong's Return to China, the Bank of China released a very Limited Issue 10 Yuan Silver Coin struck in fine .999 Silver weighing one full ounce of solid pure Silver and has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS69.

The reverse design depicts the flag of Hong Kong Special Administration Region, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the seascape and Firework display while the obverse design features the Tian An Men, the ornamental columns and peony.
