For 2026, to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Disney's Winnie the Pooh, the Royal Mint released a special collection of three coins, with the second coin featuring a Limited Issue Winnie the Pooh Loyalty 50p Fifty Pence Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.
The reverse, designed by The Walt Disney Company, celebrates Loyalty, which Pooh displays towards Christopher Robin and friends, and depicts Winnie holding hands with Christopher Robin while walking. The obverse features the Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
