For 2026, to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Disney's Winnie the Pooh, the Royal Mint released a special collection of three coins, with the first coin featuring a Limited Issue Winnie the Pooh Kindness 50p Fifty Pence Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.
The reverse, designed by The Walt Disney Company, celebrates kindness, which is shown by Winnie the Pooh towards his friends throughout A.A. Milne’s books and depicts Winnie holding a bunch of flowers, while the obverse features the Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
