2023 Sovereign Coins
| The 2023 Gold Sovereign coins are official UK gold coins struck by The Royal Mint featuring King Charles III. The 2023 range includes bullion, Brilliant Uncirculated, proof, and Certified and graded sovereign coins, along with Full Sovereign, Half Sovereign, Quarter Sovereign, and Sovereign sets containing £5, double, full, half, and quarter sovereign denominations. All coins are struck in 22-carat gold and form part of the long-established British Sovereign series dating back to 1817. To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, the obverse design features a special Crowned Portrait of King Charles III designed by Martin Jennings. |
