2023 Britannia Coins
| For 2023, the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Britannia Gold, Platinum and Silver Proof Collection of Coins and features a design by Jonathan Olliffe that depicts Britannia driving a sea chariot pulled by horses as aquatic and serpent-inspired creatures with traditional equine figures. The Gold Range includes the £500 Gold Proof 5oz Coin, £200 Gold Proof 2oz Coin, Gold Proof 6 Coin Set, Gold Proof 3 Coin Set and £25 Gold Proof Coin and in Premium £1000 Gold Proof Kilo Coin, £200 Gold Proof 2oz Coin, all struck in solid 999.9 Gold. The Silver Range includes the £1000 Silver Proof Two-Kilo Coin, £10 Silver Proof 5oz Coin, Silver Proof 6 Coin Set, £2 Silver Proof 1oz Coin and £5 Silver Proof 2oz Coin, all struck in solid fine .999 Silver. The obverse of all the coins features the First Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings. |
