The set is housed in a handsome walnut-veneer presentation case and is accompanied by an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Chief Executive of the Royal Mint.
Each of the 22 Carat Gold Proof Sovereigns feature a special Royal Coat of Arms designed by Timothy Noad to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, together with the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty, The Queen by Jody Clark on the obverse. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
