In 2022 to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Isle of Man released a very Limited Issue Struck on the Day Platinum Jubilee £2 Two Pound Double Sovereign Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and Struck on the Day of the Platinum Jubilee 6th February 2022.
The reverse has been designed by Neil Bromley while the obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
