In 2022 to commemorate Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Memorial 50p Fifty Pence Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.
The reverse, designed by Edgar Fuller and Cecil Thomas features the design created for the Queen's 1953 Coronation while the obverse features the first portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
