2020 United Kingdom Gold Proof 5 Coin Set Box Coa - Mintage 75

In 2020 the Royal Mint released a very special Limited Issue United Kingdom Gold Proof 5 Coin Set all struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.

The collection includes the new £5 Five Pound Coin celebrating King George III the Longest Reigning King, three new £2 Two Pound Coins, the first celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Agatha Christie Murder Mysteries, the second coin celebrating the 400th Anniversary of the first sailing of the Mayflower and the third coin commemorating the 75th Anniversary of VE-Day.

Also included is the new 50p Fifty Pence Coin which celebrates Team GB's participation in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games which has now been postponed and moved to 2021. All the coins have been struck in solid 22 Carat Gold to a Proof quality and housed in a handsome walnut-veneer presentation Box and accompanied by an individual numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Chief Executive of the Royal Mint.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
