2020 Britannia Premium Gold Proof 3 Coin Set Box Coa - Mintage 130
For 2020 the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Premium Britannia Gold Proof 3 Coin Set struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold.
The collection includes the £50 Fifty Pound Gold Proof Coin weighing one-half ounce of pure gold, the £25 Twenty Five Pound Gold Proof Coin weighing one-quarter of an ounce of pure Gold, the £10 Ten Pound Gold Proof Coin weighing one-tenth of an ounce of pure Gold.
The reverse designed by James Tottle features Britannia facing into the wind with a Trident planted into the rocks as the waves crash around her.
On her arm she holds a shield featuring the head of a lion while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
