In 2017 the Royal Mint released it's Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated Britannia £2 Two Pound Silver Coin in struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing one ounce of fine pure Silver and has been struck with Plain Smooth Fields and not Textured.

The reverse design is Philip Nathan's original portrait of Britannia Standing while the reverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
