2016 First World War 100th Anniversary £5 Silver Proof 6 Coin Set Box Coa

In 2016 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the First World War, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue First World War £5 Five Pound Silver Proof 6 Coin Set struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The collection has been produced in collaboration with Imperial War Museums and includes a historical booklet with images and information specially sourced by IWM, offering an insight into the events of 1916.
The obverse design of all the coins depict the stunning Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark .
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
