In 2014 to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of Queen Anne, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Queen Anne £5 Five Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse is a portrait of Queen Anne by Mark Richards and the obverse is the stunning effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
