In 2014, to celebrate the Indian Sovereign, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue St George and the Dragon Full Sovereign Gold 2 Coin Set struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.
In 1918 the Royal Mint opened a branch mint in Bombay and for a few short months released a George V St George and the Dragon Gold Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and made to the same quality as those struck in London apart from the "I" Mint Mark similar to the 2014 Elizabeth II St George and the Dragon Gold Full Sovereign Coin also included in the set.
The reverse of both coins features Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon design, and the obverse of the 1918 Sovereign depicts the bear head portrait of George V, while the 2014 Sovereign features the Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
