For 2012 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Diamond Jubilee Gold Proof Full Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

The new reverse design of the 2012 Gold Proof Full Sovereign Coin depicts a Modern St George and the Dragon which has been designed by Paul Day while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
