In 2011 to celebrate Doctor Who and the Winders, the Royal Mint in conjunction with the BBC released a very Limited Issue Dr Doctor Who Silver Proof Medal struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse depicts a Winder and the obverse a picture of the Doctor's Tardis both designed by Matthew Bonaccorsi.
The medal comes boxed with a Certificate of Authenticity.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
