2009 Jersey History of the Royal Navy HMS Conqueror £5 Proof Coin

In 2009, to celebrate the History of the Royal Navy, the Royal Mint released on behalf of Jersey a Limited Issue £5 Five Pound Proof Coin to commemorate HMS Conqueror.

The reverse design depicts HMS Conqueror while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank Broadley.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
