In 2009 the Royal Australian Mint released a very Limited Issue Kangaroo $1 One Dollar Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .999 Silver weighing one ounce of pure Silver and Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.

The reverse design by Ken Done depicts a Kangaroo while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
