In 2000 to celebrate the Kangaroo, the Perth Mint released a very special Limited Issue Kangaroo $5 Five Dollar Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine .9999 Gold weighing one-twentieth of an ounce of pure Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.
The reverse depicts a Kangaroo while the obverse has Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
