In 2005, to celebrate the History of the Royal Navy, the Royal Mint released on behalf of Jersey a Limited Issue HMS Conqueror £25 Twenty Five Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold.

The reverse design depicts the HMS Conqueror while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank Broadley.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
