In 2002 to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of Lady Diana and the setting up of the Fund, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Brilliant Uncirculated Lady Diana £5 Five Pound Crown 3 Coin Collection.

As a dual tribute, commemorating the life of the Princess and the continuing work of her Memorial Fund, the Channel Islands of Alderney, Jersey and Guernsey have issued commemorative £5 Five Pound Coins.

The Jersey £5 Crown concentrates on the personal nature of the work of the fund in supporting disadvantaged individuals whilst the £5 Crown of Guernsey alludes to the Fund's Global influence.
The Alderney £5 Crown features, in reference to Diana's love of children, a little girl presenting the Princess with a bouquet of flowers.
The obverse of the Guernsey and Jersey crown has the Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II while the Alderney Crown has Raphael Maklouf's design.
