2002 Australia Golden Jubilee Queens Accession 50c Silver Proof Coin

In 2002 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee and the 50th Anniversary of the Queen's Accession, the Royal Australian Mint released a very Limited Issue 50c Fifty Cent Silver Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver.

The reverse designed by Peter Soobik depicts St Edwards Crown while the obverse features a serene portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II designed by Ian Rank Broadley.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
