In 1987 to celebrate the 200th Anniversary of the United States Constitution, the United States Mint released a very Limited Issue Constitution $5 Five Dollar Gold Coin struck in solid .900 Gold which has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS69.
The obverse depicts an eagle holding a quill pen while the reverse features a quill pen which is viewed as symbolic for the Constitution.
The coin was designed by Marcel Jovine.
