| For 2018 to continue the Beatrix Potter series, the Royal Mint released a special range of Limited Issue The Tailor pf Gloucester 50p Fifty Pence Coins struck in Silver Proof and Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The reverse design features The Tailor of Gloucester while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. Beatrix Potter is world renowned for her 23 Little White Books for Children which include Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, Tom Kitten, Mr Jeremy Fisher and many others, her small tales for small hands have endured for more than a century. |
