Squirrel Nutkin Coins
| For 2016 to celebrate Squirrel Nutkin which is the fifth in the Beatrix Potter Series, the Royal Mint released a special range of Limited Issue Squirrel Nutkin 50p Fifty Pence Coins struck in Silver Proof with Colour and Brilliant Uncirculated condition. The reverse design features Squirrel Nutkin while the obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. Beatrix Potter is world renowned for her 23 Little White Books for Children which include Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, The Tale of Mr Tod and many others, her small tales for small hands have endured for more. |
