In 2025, to continue the Great Engravers of the United Kingdom Collection, the Royal Mint released the ninth coin in the series a special Limited Issue Benedetto Pistrucci Waterloo Victory Medal £200 Two Hundred Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid Fine .9999 Gold
weighing two ounces of pure gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM First Strike with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse designed by Benedetto Pistrucci features the Waterloo Victory Medal which was never physically struck but the tools for the medal were preserved and held at the Royal Mint museum and features Olympian Gods and depicts 19 giants, who represent the 19-year conflict, tumbling over one another as they are struck by Zeus’ thunder. Portrayed in the classical style, two equestrian figures that resemble the leaders Wellington and Blücher feature in the centre of a design in which they are guided by the figure of a flying Victory, while the obverse features the portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
