For 2024 the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Britannia £25 Twenty Five Pound Gold Proof Coin weighing one-quarter of an ounce of pure Gold struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold.
The reverse designed by Marie Alice Harel features a modern interpretation of Britannia with a nautical theme while the obverse features the First Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
