For 2022 for the second time ever, the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Premium Britannia £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid fine .999 Silver and weighing two ounces of pure Silver.

The reverse designed by Italian artist Sandra Deiana features a vibrant interpretation of Britannia and brings together three female figures representing the stages of womanhood while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
