For 2022 the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Premium Britannia £200 Two Hundred Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold weighing two ounces of pure Gold.
The reverse designed by Italian artist Sandra Deiana features a vibrant interpretation of Britannia and brings together three female figures representing the stages of womanhood while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
