In 2021 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Decimal Day, the Royal Mint released a very special Limited Issue Struck on the Day Decimal Day 50p Fifty Pence Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold with enhanced features and selective frosting issued on the 15th February Decimal Day Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM with NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.

The reverse, designed by Dominique Evans recalls the much-loved, pre-decimal coins while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
