In 2020 for only the second time ever, the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Britannia £200 Two Hundred Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold weighing two ounces of pure Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM First Strike.

The reverse designed by James Tottle features Britannia facing into the wind with a Trident planted into the rocks as the waves crash around her.
On her arm, she holds a shield featuring the head of a lion while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
