In 2017 to celebrate British Monarchs and it's Heraldry, the Royal Mint have released a Limited Issue Queens Beasts Lion of England £25 Twenty Five Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold weighing one-quarter of an ounce of pure Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.

The reverse of the first coin in a series of 10, features a stylized image of the Lion of England holding the shield of the Royal Family while the obverse features the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
