The Maple Leaf $10 Ten Dollar Gold Proof Coin has been struck in solid fine .9999 Gold weighing one quarter of an ounce of fine pure Gold.
The reverse designed by Celia Godkin depicts two sugar Maple Leaf's while the obverse features the Mary Gillick Portrait of Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth II first used on Canadian coinage in 1953, when she was 27 years old.
