The Royal Mint Deluxe Collector Proof Coin Set of 2013 comprises fifteen coins of the present coinage of the United Kingdom, all struck to the Royal Mint's Proof quality.
This year's £5 Five Pound Crown commemorates the Queen's Coronation Jubilee 60th Anniversary. Also included are three new £2 Two Pound Coins, two to commemorate the London Underground 150th Anniversary Roundel and Tube design £2 Two Pound Coins and the third to commemorate the Spade Guinea 350th Anniversary.
The sets also include two new £1 One Pound Coins to commemorate British Flowers from the United Kingdom and the Christopher Ironside 50p Fifty Pence Coin.
Also included in this set is the newly designed coinage from £1 One Pound down to 1p One Pence by Matthew Dent. All the coins have the stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse by Ian Rank Broadley. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
