In 2012 to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Dragon, the Perth Mint released a very Limited Issue Lunar Dragon $1 One Dollar Silver 10 Coin Set each struck in solid fine .999 Silver each weighing one ounce of fine pure Silver and is the fifth coin from Lunar Series II.
The set includes the 9 Colourised Lunar Dragon Silver Coins released by the Perth Mint and the tenth coin is the standard version.
The reverse design of all the coins feature the Lunar Dragon while the obverse design depicts Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
