In 2006 to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Dog, the Perth Mint released a very Limited Issue Lunar Dog $8 Eight Dollar Silver Coin colourised by the Perth Mint struck in solid fine .999 Silver weighing one five ounces of fine pure Silver and has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS69.
The reverse depicts a German Sheep Dog while the obverse has the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
