1999 Spain Millennium 1500 Pesetas Silver Proof Coin

In 1999 to celebrate the Millennium, the Spanish Mint released a very Limited Issue 1,500 Pesetas Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse designed by Alfonso Morales depicts a powerful design that unites Spain's historic maritime past with a new age of discovery, the conquest of space.
The obverse design features a portrait of King Juan Carlos I.
