In 1999 to celebrate the Kudu Bull, the South African Mint released a very Limited Issue Natura Kudu Bull Gold Proof Coin struck in solid Fine 999.9 Gold weighing one ounce of pure Gold and has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

The reverse of the coin designed by A Minnie depicts a Lioness chasing a Kudu Bull and the obverse designed by A L Sutherland is a portrait of a Kudu Bull.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
