In 1988 to celebrate the Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea and the US Teams participation, the United States Mint released a very Limited Issue Olympic $5 Five Dollar Gold Proof Coin Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.

The reverse depicts Nike, goddess of victory, crowned with an olive branch, with the word Liberty while the obverse features a stylized Olympic Flame with the US Olympic Team Logo below.
