In 1977 to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee, the Royal Canadian Mint on behalf of the Cayman Islands released a very Limited Issue Elizabeth I $25 Twenty Five Dollar Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver.

The reverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth I while the obverse depicts a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
