In 1927 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue George V Shilling Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .500 Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR64.

The reverse depicts a lion standing on a crown while the obverse is the bare head portrait of George V.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
