For 2026, the Royal Mint released it's yearly Limited Issue Britannia £100 One Hundred Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid fine 999.9 Gold weighing one ounce of pure Gold.
The reverse, designed by Emily Damstra, features Britannia standing with a trident and shield, with Britannia's connection to the sea, she stands above rolling waves. The obverse features the Portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
