The reverse of the Quartered Arms designed by William Wyon features a crowned cruciform shields, emblems in angles while the obverse features an inscription of the coin’s monetary denomination Five Pounds and the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
