In 2019 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first UK 50p Fifty Pence coin, the Royal Mint released a very special Limited Issue Girlguiding 50p Fifty Pence Proof Coin Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.
The reverse features a repeating pattern of the Girlguiding UK identity.The three leaves of the trefoil represent the threefold Promise of the Guides - duty to God or religion, duty to country, keeping the Guide Law - while the stalk signifies the love of mankind and the star, friendship.
The obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
