In 2019 to celebrate the 260th Anniversary of the Formation of Wedgwood , the Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Wedgwood £2 Two Pound Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM with special NFC Anti-Counterfeiting Technology.
The reverse designed by the Wedgwood Design Team features the Wedgwood Portland Vase
while the obverse depicts the Fifth Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
