In 2017 to commemorate Remembrance Day, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Remembrance Day Poppy Piedfort £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver colourised by the Royal Mint.
The reverse designed by Stephen Taylor features the poppy – a symbol used by nations across the world to remember and commemorate the fallen while the obverse design depicts the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS.
