In 2015 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Salvation Army, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Salvation Army £5 Five Pound Silver Proof Coin struck in solid .925 Sterling Silver Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM.

The reverse designed by Laura Clancy features the iconic shield logo, a symbol first adopted by volunteers tending to injured soldiers during The First World War.
The obverse design depicts the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley FRBS.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
